A crossover record, a bastard child of heavy-metal and punk. Aggressive, rebellious and uncompromising. Reaching the cult-status over the years, \u2018Feel The Darkness\u2019 was a game-changer in many different ways featuring iconic-now songs \u2018Alan\u2019s On Fire\u2019, \u2018Plastic Bomb\u2019 and \u2018The Badge\u2019. Coming out as an anti-authoritarian, anti-police anthem \u2018The Badge\u2019 immediately got recognition and resonance in punk-rock world. And getting recognition after a cover-version released by Pantera in mid 90\u2019s.<br><br>In 2023 Poison Idea is releasing the song again with a Portland police-officer remixing his version of \u2018The Badge\u2019. The founding member of the band, Jerry A, explains the idea behind the release with one simple: \u201cWhy would \u2018anti-police band\u2019 be working with a police officer now ? You have to listen and feel this piece of art to believe it!\u201d. The sound, the art, the manifesto that has always been very controversial. While people have always been questioning and still do.<br><br>American Leather Records is proud to present the special edition of \u2018The Badge\u2019 featuring a remix version by Portland police-officer coming out as a limited edition 7-inch vinyl.
