The song is latest single from his new studio album \u201cSongs of the Ungrateful Living\u201d, which was released through Everlast\u2019s own label Martyr Inc. Records, in partnership with EMI Music, and is available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/pCPSdX\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/pCPSdX<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although there have been albums in between, \u201cSongs of the Ungrateful Living\u201d is the spiritual follow-up to his 1998 breakthrough, the multi-platinum \u201cWhitey Ford Sings the Blues\u201d, an eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, pop and hip-hop, which topped the Billboard charts and sold more than 3 million copies on the strength of its crossover hit, \u201cWhat It\u2019s Like.\u201d \u201cSongs of the Ungrateful Living\u201d lead single, \u201cI Get By\u201d has been hailed as an anthem for these troubled times, and prompted Vibe Magazine to proclaim, \u201cOn his sixth solo studio work the groundbreaking white MC is making a no-nonsense return-to-form.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EVERLAST emerged as a member of Ice-T\u2019s Rhyme Syndicate for his 1990 solo album, &#8220;Forever Everlasting&#8221; then formed the pioneering rap group House of Pain with friends DJ Lethal and Danny Boy.
