FEATURING NEW KEVIN DUBROW TRACK “I CAN’T HOLD ON”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Legendary rock band\u00a0Quiet Riot<\/strong>\u00a0has just re-released “REHAB: RELAPSED AND REMASTERED<\/em><\/strong>” via\u00a0Red Samurai Music<\/strong>. The album includes a previously unreleased track entitled “I Can’t Hold On<\/strong>,” originally written and demoed by\u00a0Kevin Dubrow<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Alex Grossi<\/strong>\u00a0in 2003. The finished track features a hauntingly powerful vocal from DuBrow and is a semi-posthumous reunion of DuBrow,\u00a0Frankie Banali<\/strong>, and\u00a0Rudy Sarzo<\/strong>. The song was edited and produced by\u00a0Alistair James<\/strong>, who most recently engineered for\u00a0Joe Perry<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Johnny Depp<\/strong>\u00a0on the latest “Hollywood Vampires<\/strong>” release “Rise<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The “I Can’t Hold On<\/strong>” video honestly conveys the reason for Quiet Riot<\/strong> to carry on and Celebrate Frankie’s and Kevin’s memories and the Quiet Riot<\/strong> legacy,\u201d says bassist Rudy Sarzo<\/strong>. “To play bass on “I Can’t Hold On<\/strong>” with Kevin and Frankie 40 years after our Metal Health<\/em><\/strong> record sessions along with Alex Grossi<\/strong> is truly a blessing.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s so great to finally hear this track the way it was supposed to be done,” says Alex Grossi<\/strong>. “I completely forgot about it until it turned up on an old iPod last summer. The way it came to life almost 20 years later is truly special and a perfect tribute to Kevin and Frankie.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the helm of Red Samurai Music<\/strong> is Regina Banali<\/strong>, widow to the late Frankie Banali<\/strong>. “I am now the steward of Frankie’s life work and the band, and it is very important to me to protect the Quiet Riot<\/strong> legacy,” states Banali. “Rehab<\/strong>‘ was a very important recording to both Frankie and Kevin and a significant part of the soundtrack to the film “QUIET RIOT: Well Now You’re Here, There’s No Way Back<\/strong>.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2022 saw the current line-up of\u00a0QUIET RIOT<\/strong>, which in addition to Sarzo and Grossi, includes vocalist\u00a0Jizzy Pearl<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Type O Negative<\/strong>\u00a0drummer\u00a0Johnny Kelly<\/strong>\u00a0perform nearly 70 shows, including headlining the opening night of the “Sturgis Motorcycle Rally,<\/strong>” “Monsters On The Mountain<\/strong>” and the 15th annual “Rocklahoma Festival<\/strong>.” The band is currently booking an extensive tour for 2023 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Metal Health<\/em><\/strong>,” which was originally released on March 11th, 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
