In just two years their experimental songs were pushing boundaries. From the hypnotizing drum-machine-led debut \u201825 Minutes\u2019 and the Krautrock-influenced \u2018I Said Go\u2019 to the synth-infused new wave of \u2018Blow The Back Off\u2019 and their final single, the sprawling 7-minute \u2018The Girl With The Disappearing Head\u2019, this is a celebration of the much underrated and important Religious Overdose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Formed in Barby (near Rugby) in 1979, their original vocalist left, and Alex Novak joined in 1980, producing three singles for Glass Records. They initially used a rhythm generator, then replaced by drummer Pete Brownjohn.
