When we last caught up with New York City performer and Lords Of Acid burlesquer, Ashley Bad, she had just released her second single, the sultry atmospheric \u201cThe Gun,\u201d alongside a smokin\u2019 hot video. Now, Bad returns with an even more scintillating track and video that is sure to get the blood pumping! \u201cErotica\u201d is Bad\u2019s cover of the controversial Madonna song from 1992, which marked Madonna\u2019s foray into the world of fetish and BDSM imagery. Unlike Madonna, Ashley is no interloper to the fetish world, having been a performer in the scene for years including performances just this year at the Dallas Fetish Ball and Minneapolis\u2019s RubberBall USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bad\u2019s version of \u201cErotica\u201d is another collaboration with producer\/guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite (Tricky \/ Peter Murphy) who crafts an electro-industrial backing track that maintains a steady heart-pumping groove perfectly paced for the dancefloor. Ashley meanwhile gives a breathy and dramatic vocal performance that could be her most sensual yet! The EP comes with a radio edit of \u201cErotica\u201d as well as 2 industrial strength remixes of \u201cThe Gun\u201d by American band Imperative Reaction and Australian transplants Angelspit.
