Celebrated Canadian rock and roll band The Damn Truth<\/strong> are pleased to announce they will be special guests on King King\u2019s <\/em><\/strong>February 2022 UK Tour<\/strong><\/a>. Tickets are available from thegigcartel.com<\/a> and planetrocktickets.co.uk<\/a>. The nine-date tour starts at York’s  Grand Opera House<\/strong> on February 10<\/strong>, 2022 <\/strong>and ends at London’s The Electric Ballroom <\/strong>on February 24, 2022<\/strong>.  

The news follows the news of The Damn Truth\u2019s forthcoming album \u201cNow or Nowhere\u201d, <\/strong>released by Spectra Musique\/Sony Music<\/strong> on Friday May 7th<\/strong>.

The new album, produced by legendary Grammy Award winning record producer, Bob Rock<\/strong>, is available to pre-order from www.thedamntruth.com<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Damn Truth’s latest single, \u201cThis Is Who We Are Now\u201d<\/strong> has taken flight in the UK with six weeks of airplay on Planet Rock <\/strong>and a spot play on BBC Radio 2\u2019s<\/strong> Rock Show with Johnnie<\/em><\/strong> Walker<\/em><\/strong>. The single also won Tracks of the Week<\/strong> on Classic Rock\u2019s<\/strong> Louder Sound<\/em><\/strong>.

The Damn Truth<\/strong> is comprised of Lee-La Baum (<\/strong>lead vocals, guitar), Tom Shemer<\/strong> (guitar), PY Letellier <\/strong>(bass) and Dave Traina <\/strong>(drums).

Six tracks on the new album \u201cNow or Nowhere\u201d<\/strong> were produced by legendary Grammy Award winning Bob Rock <\/strong>(Metallica, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, The Cult, The Offspring) at Bryan Adams\u2019<\/strong> recording studio \u201cThe Warehouse\u201d<\/strong> in Vancouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow or Nowhere\u201d<\/strong> chronicles the band as they navigate life, love, and everything else in a world gone seemingly upside down and sideways during the past year they were unable to finish the album with Bob because of COVID-19 restrictions, the band recorded the remaining three songs with help from Juno Award-winning producer Jean Massicotte <\/strong>(Patrick Watson, The Damn Truth) who mixed \u201cEverything Fades\u201d; and the rest of the mixing was done by Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton), Nick DiDia<\/strong> (Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against The Machine), and Mike Plotnikoff <\/strong>(Van Halen, Cranberries, Three Days Grace).

It’s worth noting there are three Grammy Award winners on this album (Bob Rock, Vance Powell, and Nick DiDia).

The Damn Truth have extensively toured Europe and the USA, opened tours for Z.Z. Top<\/strong> (and partied with Billy Gibbons<\/strong> in his pyjamas), the Sheepdogs<\/strong>, Styx<\/strong>, and Rival Sons<\/strong>.

They sold out the legendary Whisky a Go-Go <\/strong>in Los Angeles, sold out the Corona Theatre<\/strong> in their hometown of Montreal, and even had one of their videos featured on the official Janis Joplin<\/strong> Facebook page. It’s a culmination of a lot of blood, sweat and tears that\u2019s come fruition with \u201cNow or Nowhere\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Now or Nowhere<\/strong>” is available to <\/strong>pre-order<\/strong><\/a>. The single, “This Is Who We Are Now”<\/strong>, <\/em>is now streaming on YouTube<\/a> and Spotify<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
