Hailing from Geelong, Australia WARPED<\/strong> are a 3-piece band that have been around the traps for 30 years and are highly-respected scene veterans. WARPED <\/strong>are set to release their new single \u2018Match Fit\u2019 <\/strong>via Golden Robot Records<\/strong> on the 18th of May!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Match Fit\u2019 <\/strong>is the band’s latest, following their recent single \u2018Raised By Goats\u2019<\/strong> and will be available on all digital platforms. This is maximum volume, fuzzed out Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll reminiscent of all the classicPower Rock Trios. Another banger from the house of WARPED<\/strong> riffage, \u2018Match Fit\u2019<\/strong> is a high-energy anthem that contains lyrics such as \u201cmatch fit for rock and roll, the doctor told me so\u201d. Barely into high school, Ben Watkins<\/strong> with his childhood accomplice in hi-jinx, Cris Wilson<\/strong>, formed Warped<\/strong> in their hometown of Geelong. With Cris on drums and Ben on guitar, 30 years later they are considered veterans of the Aussie Rock \u2019n\u2019 roll\u202fscene.

Warped now stand as a solid 3-piece with Benny, Cris and Sammy on bass. In 2018, Warped released Bolt From The Blue<\/em><\/strong>. This record is\u202fjust the latest in a large catalogue of blistering rock \u2019n\u2019 roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warped<\/strong> have been fortunate to share the stage with some of the bands that they love and who helped mould their sound and shape their musical inclinations. Playing with The Melvins, Fu Manchu, Wayne Kramer, Dinosaur Jr<\/strong> and The Dwarves,<\/strong> as well as their buddies – Magic Dirt<\/strong>, Bored<\/strong> and Asteroid B612<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
