MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u00a0and Germany\u2026 it was always a love affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Throughout the Grammy-Award winning band\u2019s illustrious 40-year career, Germany never wavered in its loyal and fanatical support of\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>untouchably loud rock \u2018n\u2019 roll, with the band regularly selling out tour after tour. And on December 5, 2012, at the Berlin Velodrom,\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u00a0played one of their biggest-ever German gigs to 12,000 delirious, delighted and demented\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/a>fans during the\u00a0Kings of The Road Tour<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The event was thankfully recorded, and on April 23rd<\/sup>, Silver Lining Music will proudly present\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0on CD with bonus DVD, double vinyl and via your favored streaming platforms.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Featuring Ian \u2018Lemmy\u2019 Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee,\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a crowning, definitive statement as to the power the trio had long held. Theirs was a line-up which had spent decades cracking sound barriers, bending ears and decimating lawns worldwide, consistently delivering\u00a0the Mot\u00f6rgospel to hundreds of thousands of fans, and\u00a0this line-up was\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u2019s longest serving by a considerable\u00a0distance (Phil joined in 1984,\u00a0Mikkey\u00a0in 1992, and the band played as a trio from 1995 until the band\u2019s final show in 2015).<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Throughout\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>their powerful synergy boots its way through the speakers with the boisterous\u00a0<\/strong>charm and dirty, dangerous, sweaty gusto that was the Kilmister\/Campbell\/Dee trademark.\u00a0From the\u00a0unapologetically furious\u00a0\u201cI Know How to Die\u201d to a deliciously raucous\u00a0\u201cGoing to Brazil,\u201d\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>is all about the thick, raw and liberating power of\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u00a0live, with longtime producer Cameron Webb bringing his mixing skills to the party as well as doing a 5.1 mix of the DVD.\u00a0Further highlights include a\u00a0favorably feral\u00a0\u201cRock It,\u201d a\u00a0rudely raunchy\u00a0\u201cYou Better Run\u201d and a classic one-two haymaker of\u00a0\u201cAce of Spades\u201d and\u00a0\u201cOverkill.\u201d\u00a0The leading track from the album will be a cranium-cracking \u201cOver the Top,\u201d a song which must be as close to definitive of this band as you\u2019ll ever find.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The whole night was captured by Herwig Meyszner, who has also produced concert films for the likes of\u00a0Saxon<\/strong>,\u00a0Exodus<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Kreator<\/strong>, with a multi-camera no-shot-missed shoot that captures not just the energy onstage but the energy on the floor. In so many ways,\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a joyous celebration of Lemmy, Phil, Mikkey and this special night in Germany, and whether a collector completist or newbie to\u00a0MOT\u00d6RHEAD<\/strong>\u2019s music,\u00a0Louder Than Noise\u2026 Live in Berlin<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a welcome reminder of what\u00a0real<\/em>\u00a0rock \u2018n\u2019 roll is\u00a0truly about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
