Deafheaven<\/strong>\u00a0has capped an incredible ten year run with the release of\u00a010 Years Gone<\/strong><\/em>, available today\u00a0via\u00a0Sargent House<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album, which serendipitously acts as a career retrospect, was initially conceived as the\u00a0setlist for a since-cancelled world tour meant to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their first EP\u00a0demo, released\u00a0June 1st of 2010.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Covid taking touring away for the conceivable future, the band decided to record the set\u00a0live at\u00a0Atomic Garden studios<\/strong>. With songs that span their entire discography, including the first song they ever wrote,\u00a010\u00a0Years Gone<\/em>\u00a0is a\u00a0facinating look into a band that has continuously challenged the scope of what rock and metal\u00a0can be.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
