Albert Bouchard is best known as a founding member of Blue \u00d6yster Cult. The original line-up sold millions of albums for Columbia Records, with such classic songs as \u201c(Don\u2019t Fear) The Reaper\u201d and the #1 hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart \u201cBurning For You\u201d. Contributing to songwriting, drums, and lead vocals on some of their greatest songs, such as \u201cCites on Flame with Rock and Roll\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Albert is set to release \u201cRe Imaginos\u201d on November 6th through he and his brother\u2019s (Joe Bouchard) new imprint label, RockHeart Records \/ Deko Entertainment (ADA\/Warner Music Group). The album is Albert\u2019s reimagining of the 1988 Blue \u00d6yster Cult release, \u201cImaginos\u201d, which was originally intended as Albert\u2019s solo album. As Albert explains, \u201cMost BOC fans know at this point that \u2018Imaginos\u2019 was supposed to be my solo album. Some people think it\u2019s the best BOC album, others think it\u2019s not a \u2018true\u2019 BOC album. In either case, they\u2019re right. I made this new album for them so that they can hear a more properly realized version of the tale.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
