In contrast to its futuristic title, Rundgren returns to the days of yesteryear when artists would release several singles first before releasing an \u201calbum,\u201d or collection of singles. Thus,&nbsp;<em>Space Force<\/em>&nbsp;will be released to digital platforms as individual singles, each with its own unique artwork, every 3 or 4 weeks with the entire album coming in early 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First up is a song as adventurous as&nbsp;<em>Space Force<\/em>&nbsp;suggests, the ambitious collaboration \u201cEspionage\u201d with Muslim hip hop artist Narcy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThe song is actually an orphan of White Knight. Narcy and I began the colab in the final days of that album and we couldn\u2019t get it finished in time, so in a sense it\u2019s the first song of Space Force.\u201d &#8211; Todd Rundgren<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep an eye out for more\u00a0<em>Space Force<\/em>\u00a0singles including collaborations with Weezer\u2019s Rivers Cuomo and idiosyncratic pop stars Sparks as well as a video for \u201cEspionage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/skylight.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rundgren_album.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/skylight.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rundgren_album.jpg 600w, https:\/\/skylight.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rundgren_album-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/skylight.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Rundgren_album-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stream the track here:<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/orcd.co\/todd_rundgren_narcy_espionage\">https:\/\/orcd.co\/todd_rundgren_narcy_espionage<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other news, now that the convention has wrapped, Todd\u2019s new re-record of his 1973 anthem \u201cJust One Victory\u201d has been provided to the Democratic National Committee for gratis use by all candidates running for public office this fall, from top of ballot down to dogcatcher .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager, going on to found and front Nazz, the quintessential 60&#8217;s psychedelic group. In 1969, he left the band to pursue a solo career, recording his debut offering,\u00a0<em>Runt<\/em>.
