DR CHRISPY (aka Dr. Chris Boshuizen)<\/strong>\u00a0is a music producer, songwriter, and award-winning aerospace engineer dedicated to sharing his love of both music and space exploration. Following the recent release of his exciting new\u00a0Transitory EP<\/em><\/strong>, which included collaborations with a diverse group of special guests and innovative producers from around the world, DR CHRISPY is now proud to announce\u00a0TRANSITORY ECHOES<\/em><\/strong>, featuring all new remixes of the\u00a0Transitory EP<\/em>\u00a0tracks from\u00a0Robert Peckyno<\/strong>,\u00a0Kevin Ochoa<\/strong>,\u00a0Contre-Attaque<\/strong>,\u00a0T-ROM<\/strong>,\u00a0On Being Human<\/strong>, and\u00a0D-Noise<\/strong>.\u00a0TRANSITORY ECHOES<\/em>\u00a0will release online everywhere music is streamed and sold on September 18, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Two singles from\u00a0TRANSITORY ECHOES<\/em>\u00a0will be released in the lead up to the album, including a House remix from T-ROM dropping on the US Labor Day holiday weekend (the perfect party track for a late summer playlist), and a creative and innovative dance track from Kevin Ochoa the following week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


DR CHRISPY released his\u00a0Transitory EP<\/em>\u00a0in July of 2020, presented as a collection of short stories, each one a first-person narrative from a different speaker. DR CHRISPY worked with contributing artists for that project including\u00a0The Stunt Man<\/strong>,\u00a0Haji Mike<\/strong>,\u00a0Med Dred<\/strong>,\u00a0Synthapex<\/strong>,\u00a0Psybolord<\/strong>, and\u00a0Aeronexus<\/strong>. The three different tracks on the\u00a0Transitory EP<\/em>, each with distinct themes, cycle from morning, to afternoon, to evening, mirroring our own self-reflections as we move through our day. This creative effort has been a huge success and immediately caught the attention of several other notable producers in DR CHRISPY\u2019s orbit, which led to the creation of this new\u00a0TRANSITORY ECHOES<\/em>\u00a0remix project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


DR CHRISPY is an undeniably prolific creator and community builder. As an active partner at the Silicon Valley-based VC firm DCVC, Dr. Chris Boshuizen helped finance and launch the companies\u00a0Capella Space Corporation<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rocket Lab<\/strong>. Together these two companies launched a satellite into orbit this August, and to celebrate the launch DR CHRISPY wrote and produced the commemorative instrumental track\u00a0\u201cInfinity Rising,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which featured on launch day as part of the live streaming event now viewed by over 100,000 people! This anthemic and uplifting single celebrates the dedication and hard work of both of these teams, who despite hardships and setbacks have brought their dreams into reality. Appropriately, \u201cInfinity Rising\u201d perfectly captures the euphoric feeling of a dream realized through hard work and perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


VHS<\/em>\u00a0was DR CHRISPY\u2019s first full-length release, which ranked Number 8 on the\u00a0Synthwave Radio Best Albums of 2018<\/strong>\u00a0list and was widely praised, with\u00a0Exclusive Magazine<\/strong>\u00a0calling it \u201ca wonderfully ambient, bouncy, fun, even thoughtful at times collection of instrumental tracks.\u201d\u00a0BabySue.com<\/strong>\u00a0says, \u201cWhether you’re out clubbing or at home trying to get things done, these nifty little rhythmic creations will likely be just what the doctor ordered to get things going.\u201d Chris wrote the majority of VHS while traveling as an aerospace engineer, capturing the vibe of each place and moment in time he visited. DR CHRISPY released two singles in 2019, including\u00a0\u201cDrive,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0which features a high tempo driving beat and catchy instrumental hook, and his tribute to the NASA Voyager 1 spacecraft\u00a0\u201cVoyager at the Heliopause\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(with\u00a0music video<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


For the following\u00a0VHS REMIXED<\/em>\u00a0project that released online November 22, 2019, the tracks of VHS were reimagined by producers from all over the world including\u00a0The Stunt Man<\/strong>,\u00a0Psybolord<\/strong>,\u00a0T-ROM<\/strong>,\u00a0Kevin Ochoa<\/strong>,\u00a0Manor Sound<\/strong>,\u00a0Always Romantic<\/strong>,\u00a0Synthapex<\/strong>, and\u00a0B Wiley<\/strong>. The resulting collaborations created an album that elevates the original\u00a0VHS<\/em>\u00a0to brand new heights that even DR CHRISPY had not imagined.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


After having worked at\u00a0NASA<\/strong>\u00a0inventing new kinds of spacecraft and co-founding the company\u00a0Planet Labs<\/strong>, Chris Boshuizen decided to pursue his art full-time, adopting the nickname \u201cChrispy\u201d that was given to him by his NASA co-workers. Unlike other notable \u201cdoctors\u201d in the music industry, DR CHRISPY has a\u00a0PhD in Physics<\/strong>, and in 2014 he won the\u00a0Advance Global Australian<\/strong>\u00a0of the Year Award for his contributions to Science and Advanced Manufacturing. Leveraging his years of experience with computer music, Chris will teach his fourth introductory workshop on electronic music production at this year\u2019s annual\u00a0Taxi Road Rally<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in Los Angeles. DR CHRISPY\u2019s goal as an artist is to connect music and tech while bringing a message of hope and empowerment to his audience. DR CHRISPY runs his home studio in San Francisco where he is actively writing and recording new music.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
