After recently signing to Golden Robot Records, <\/strong>rock powerhouse AshenMoon <\/strong>have released their debut double single\u2018Dustbowl\u2019<\/strong>and\u2018Mosquito\u2019. <\/strong>Headed by the return of bassist Garry Beers (INXS),<\/strong>one of the best vocalists in rock Toby Rand<\/strong>and the highly talented and regarded guitaristJimmy Khoury, AshenMoon <\/strong>nail the formula that blends 70’s, new wave and modern rock n roll into one massive Arena worthy sound.

DUSTBOWL<\/strong> is a kaleidoscopic view into a world of confusion and division. A message for individuals to trust in their path and journey into their inner-self to separate from an unbalanced climate. It is an escape, \u201cClose your eyes, our only hope is sound\u201d.

MOSQUITO <\/strong>begins as a reflective monologue of self-destruction and procrastination. Enter the Mosquito; a creative entity, welcomed wakeup call to step into action. A reminder to live in the moment and inspire to be inspired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABOUT ASHENMOON:Garry Beers\u00a0<\/strong>is pure Rock Royalty there is no doubt about that. As a founding member and bassist of\u00a0INXS\u00a0<\/strong>and with over 50 million in worldwide album sales; Beers has returned to the scene with\u00a0AshenMoon<\/strong>\u00a0to continue his rock legacy. Alongside Garry is\u00a0Toby Rand,\u00a0<\/strong>a man with one of the\u00a0best Rock voices on the planet.

When they first began writing their debut record; Beers, Rand and guitarist\u00a0Jimmy Khoury<\/strong>\u00a0unravelled their personal songwriting talent and began collaborating on what was originally a \u201cPassion Project\u201d in Beers\u2019 garage. There, in the heat of the San Fernando Valley (L.A.), they created the recipe and sound of\u00a0AshenMoon.<\/strong>\u00a0A fusion of 70’s, new wave and modern rock n roll.

Khoury\u00a0<\/strong>is a very highly regarded and successful film and television composer and has also written and performed with a plethora of high-profile artists.

Additional songwriting was delivered by UK pianist\u00a0Kenny Dickenson\u00a0<\/strong>(KT Tunstall, Billy Bragg\u00a0<\/strong>etc.) and Australian drummer\u00a0Sebastian Gregory<\/strong>\u00a0(The Veronica\u2019s<\/strong>).
Produced by Beers (co-produced by Rand), their upcoming debut album is influenced by the electronic grooves of Beers\u2019 work with\u00a0INXS\u00a0<\/strong>fuelled by memorable riffs inspired by Khoury\u2019s work with\u00a0Beth Hart<\/strong>, whilst Rand traverses his range emotionally with tales of heartbreak, love and redemption; something uniquely his own.

Mixed by Grammy award winner\u00a0David Reitzas<\/strong>\u00a0and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Jeff Buckley),\u00a0AshenMoon\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0music is majestically anthemic, whilst remaining magnetically intimate. It is an album full of arena-ready hooks and exudes a powerful rock blend of honesty, integrity and smouldering intensity.
