His new album&nbsp;<strong><em>The Sound Of Dreams<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong>is to be released later this year, but David has unveiled&nbsp;the first single from the album \u2018<strong>So Far From&nbsp;Home\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;featuring&nbsp;<strong>PJ Olsson&nbsp;<\/strong>(The Alan Parsons Live Project)on vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018<strong>So Far From&nbsp;Home\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;is a majestic yet at times ethereal progressive masterpiece that echoes the golden era of prog. His critically acclaimed 2010 album&nbsp;<strong><em>Random Acts of Beauty<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;became one of the biggest Progressive Rock releases of the year and features a rare guest appearance by legendary guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Andrew Latimer<\/strong>&nbsp;of the English progressive rock band&nbsp;<strong>Camel.<\/strong><br>David is also a motion picture producer, director and writer with over 150 credits to his name. He has worked alongside some of Hollywood\u2019s elites including Mel Gibson as well as many musical icons including&nbsp;<strong>Elton John, The Moody Blues, Alan Parsons, Kris Kristofferson&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Three Dog Night.<\/strong><br>As a Producer and Director, David created a number of documentary and concert videos for various musical acts including nine for&nbsp;<strong>Camel<\/strong>, and five for legendary&nbsp;<strong>Moody Blues<\/strong>&nbsp;frontman&nbsp;<strong>Justin Hayward<\/strong>&nbsp;whose Minasian-directed DVD&nbsp;<em>Spirits Live<\/em>&nbsp;reached #2 on the Billboard video charts and was broadcast on the PBS network.<br>In 2016, David\u2019s film&nbsp;<strong><em>The Story Behind Nights In White Satin<\/em><\/strong><em>,<\/em>&nbsp;which detailed the history of the Moody Blues\u2019 signature song, earned a best documentary award from the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema.<br>Working again with Hayward, David co-wrote the theme for the motion picture&nbsp;<em>The Wind of Heaven,<\/em>&nbsp;which became the best-selling download from Hayward\u2019s&nbsp;<em>All the Way<\/em>&nbsp;Greatest Hits CD, as well as the name of Hayward\u2019s 2017 World Tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Random Acts of Beauty\u2019s<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;Mellotron drenched, classically influenced symphonic rock features soaring melodies and lush keyboard rich arrangements, as well as powerful lead guitar work courtesy of David\u2019s young son Justin, along with&nbsp;<strong>Camel<\/strong>&nbsp;guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Andrew Latimer<\/strong>&nbsp;who guests on the track&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Masquerade\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David\u2019s long awaited follow up album,&nbsp;<strong><em>The Sound of Dreams,&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>to be released in2020,enlists a virtual who\u2019s who of legendary musicians including&nbsp;<strong>Moody Blues&nbsp;<\/strong>guitarist\/vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Justin Hayward, Genesis<\/strong>&nbsp;guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Steve Hackett, Renaissance<\/strong>&nbsp;vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Annie Haslam,<\/strong>&nbsp;Yes bassist&nbsp;<strong>Billy Sherwood, &nbsp;Alan Parsons<\/strong>&nbsp;lead vocalist&nbsp;<strong>PJ Olsson, Moody Blues<\/strong>&nbsp;Live vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Julie Ragins<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Pentagram&nbsp;<\/strong>founding member drummer\/guitarist&nbsp;<strong>Geof O\u2019Keefe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The album\u2019s title track is an 11-minute tour-de-force which brings&nbsp;<strong>Steve Hackett, Annie Haslam<\/strong><strong>and Billy Sherwood&nbsp;<\/strong>together for the first time on the same recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As David says, \u201cThese are the heroes I grew up with.
