With a new election on the horizon and America still on the brink,\u00a0Ministry\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0Al Jourgensen<\/strong>\u00a0has re-entered the studio to create his missives that will become material for a to-be-announced new album on\u00a0Nuclear Blast Records<\/strong>. The first taste comes today with the bold new track\u00a0\u201cAlert Level\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>accompanied by a provocative lyric video, created by\u00a0Agent Ogden.<\/strong>

The song is the first new material from\u00a0Jourgensen<\/strong>\u00a0in two years and has a timely message as America\u2014and the global population\u2014faces epidemics, environmental crises, political corruption and one of the biggest elections of our lifetimes.

Regarding\u00a0\u201cAlert Level,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Jourgensen<\/strong>\u00a0says, \u201cWe finished the song in January and it sounded great during rehearsals for our Australia\/Japan tour dates, before we went into quarantine. The original plan was to finish the new record before the July \u2018Industrial Strength\u2019 US tour so we could have an Election Day release, but in lieu of the circumstances\u2014and how relevant the song feels for these bizarre times\u2014we decided to release \u2018Alert Level\u2019 now. Considering that this song features the question \u2018How concerned are you?\u2019 I\u2019ll be interested to see how folks answer it themselves.\u201d<\/em>

With the release of\u00a0\u201cAlert Level,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0fans are asked to be a part of the larger conversation by answering the question posed by the song\u2019s central message,\u00a0\u201cHow concerned are you?\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Fans should upload videos, 30 seconds or less, to their social media profiles with the hashtag\u00a0#MinistryAlertLevel<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em>All the members of Ministry will be watching from home and selecting the videos most meaningful to them, which will be later shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
