\n\nLos Angeles\u2019 indie psych rock outfit Tombstones in Their Eyes<\/strong><\/a>present their new 2-track single ‘Maybe Someday’<\/strong><\/a>with b-side ‘I Can’t Feel It Anymore (Junkie Version)’<\/strong>. Appearing not long after the single ‘Open Skies’<\/a> <\/strong>(also two tracks with an alternative version of ‘Dreams’<\/strong>), these tasters preview the band’s new album ‘Maybe Someday’<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tombstones create walls of sound that are simultaneously sonorous and hazy. These are cavernous, stoner lullabies that are wrapped in dark shoegazing dreamscapes and descend into post-rock soundscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This album was recorded at L.A.\u2019s Kitten Robot Studio<\/strong> with Paul Roessler<\/strong><\/a> (Nina Hagen, The Deadbeats, The Screamers, 45 Grave)<\/strong>, The trippy cover artwork was created by LazebraArt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Maybe Someday’ is the first long-play from Tombstones In Their Eyes since their debut release ‘Sleep Forever’<\/strong> (2015). This album comes on the heels of several critically acclaimed releases: their ‘Nothing New’ EP<\/strong>, ‘Shutting Down’<\/strong><\/a>single and \u2018Fear\u2019 EP<\/strong><\/a>. Earlier they also released their huge sounding \u2018Bad Clouds\u2019 EP (2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Maybe Someday is a magic song!  It came together quickly and I fell in love with the demo.  Was scared to re-record it in the studio, so we were very careful not to mess with the magic.  Maybe Someday says it all, as far as the theme of the song goes.  It’s about yearning to break out of the self-imposed chains but knowing that it will probably never happen.  So sad, really,” says John Treanor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It features some wonderful melody guitar playing by Josh in the breaks and Stephen even played a spring to make the beat sound more clock-like and hypnotic. \u00a0Mike plays a straight ahead bass line to further accentuate the steady movement towards the payoff of the final chorus. \u00a0One of my favorite songs and I’ve listened to it hundreds of times.”

The ‘Maybe Someday’ single releases on November 5, quickly followed by the album’s release on November 15. It will be available on limited edition CD through\u00a0Somewherecold Records<\/strong><\/a>. Digitally, it will be available across platforms such as\u00a0iTunes<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Spotify<\/strong><\/a>, but can already be pre-ordered via\u00a0Bandcamp<\/strong><\/a>.
