New recordings for projects for\u00a0<strong>KELLI ALI\u00a0<\/strong>(<strong>ex-SNEAKER PIMPS<\/strong>) and\u00a0<strong>THE RESIDENTS\u00a0<\/strong>soon followed, with\u00a0<strong>RUSTY EGAN (VISAGE)\u00a0<\/strong>releasing his remix of CWNN\u2019s \u2018Swept Away\u2019, and inviting frontman Erik Stein to perform his forthcoming single with guest\u00a0<strong>CHRIS PAYNE\u00a0<\/strong>(<strong>ex-GARY NUMAN<\/strong>).<br><br> All fired up, the all-new 13 track album\u00a0<strong>MEDIABURN\u00a0<\/strong>sees CWNN at the peak of their musical and lyrical powers, as they contemplate a disintegrating society. Typically unleashing a brutal acid wit on the electro-funk of \u2018<strong>Blind Dogs for the Guides<\/strong>\u2019 and jazz-tinged \u2018<strong>She Sells Incels<\/strong>\u2019, they still conjure up soaring mournful moments such as \u2018<strong>By Air of By Sea<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>In Hollywood You Won\u2019t Find Bel-Air<\/strong>\u2019, alongside the pure synthpop of \u2018<strong>So Much Left to Undo<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>Button on My Desk<\/strong>\u2019. It\u2019s an album that\u2019s dark, sardonic, electronic, acoustic\u2026and everywhere in between.\u00a0<br><br><strong>MEDIABURN<\/strong> includes the usual CWNN special guest appearances.\u00a0<strong>KELLI ALI\u00a0<\/strong>weaves her vocal magic throughout, and\u00a0<strong>STEVEN BROWN\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>BLAINE L.
