Less than two weeks to go until ALCEST<\/strong>release their 6th studio album \u00bbSpiritual Instinct\u00ab.<\/strong>Recorded at the French Drudenhaus Studios and written in bursts both during and after a prolonged period of touring in support of 2016\u2019s hugely successful \u00bbKodama\u00ab<\/strong>, the new and very cathartic album is leading the blackgaze pioneers into dark soundscapes and will be released on October 25th.

\nToday, band leader Neige speaks about the studio recordings of the new album with Benoit Roux and explains how lengthy and difficult the writing process can sometimes be. He also sheds light on his working process with his bandmate Winterhalter<\/strong> and how they complement each other. Watch the full trailer, here:
