Tickets are on sale now via the venue \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2MswmBD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\nhttps:\/\/bit.ly\/2MswmBD<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Brian Downey\u2019s ALIVE AND DANGEROUS features\n<\/strong><strong>Brian Grace<\/strong> (best known as the guitarist for the Commitments\u2019 Andrew Strong),\n plus former Low Rider band members <strong>Matt Wilson<\/strong> (lead vocals, bass), and <strong>\nPhil Edgar<\/strong> (lead guitar). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Thin Lizzy\u2019s reunion wrapped in 2013, Downey declined the offer of joining Black Star Riders, and decided to take a year\n off. In 2013, he met guitarist Brian Grace and discussed various aspects of music, and which direction he wanted to take his music next.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Says Brian, \u201cAfter the Thin Lizzy reunion shows finished in 2013, I was asked to join what turned out to be Black Star Riders,\n but it just didn\u2019t feel right for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Continues Brian, \u201cIn January 2016, following an appearance at the\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vibeforphilo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Vibe for Philo<\/strong><\/a> in Dublin,\n I approached <strong>Brian Grace<\/strong> and that\u2019s when we discussed getting a band together.
