1. How did you decide to form Megaforce Records?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nobody was interested in releasing a Metallica album so we decided to do it ourselves. Just did it with no experience just faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Can you remember any numbers of records that your bands were selling back then?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I can tell you is that it was 5000 at a time. When Metallica were signed we had sold I believe 35k but Raven sales were higher at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How easy or hard was to form a recording label when you started your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very hard. We didn\u2019t know what we were doing but we learned fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Did you ever have any second thoughts about forming a \u201cmetal only\u201d label?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always wanted an all metal label from day 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Would you like to clarify your statement \u201cI sold metal records because metal is foreground music, not background music.\u201d What do you exactly mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a difference between f music and b music. One is to relax too and one requires active listening and usually requires a physical response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Megaforce Records was the \u201chome label\u201d of Metallica, what did it prevent you from continuing your collaboration with them? Does your company still own the master recording of Metallica’s \u201cKill \u2018Em All\u201d or do you still receive royalties from this album?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metallica wanted bigger and more established management. We had no choice but to end our partnership. We had our separation but the terms are to remain private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Which was your involvement with the Wall Street?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I worked on WallStreet and got into bad mischief. I was very young and learned my lessons. There is much about Metallica and Wall Street in the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. How did you decide to write the book? How long did it take and which was the process of gathering and writing the material?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book started when I retired from managing Venom Inc. In May of 2018. I fully retired and started writing right away. Took a year to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Are there any parts that you decided to use it for a second book?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s funny you ask. After the book was done I realized there was so much to still write about. Maybe #2 but one book was very hard on me. I tell a lot of private things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Where can the fans find your book and do you plan any signing sessions?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. What is the current status of Megaforce Records and do you have other music industry related activities?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am no longer the owner-CEO of Megaforce and have nothing to do with the company. I am FULLY RETIRED now enjoying my family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. How do you adjust your self to the current status of the music industry and what do you predict for the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy Metal will be even stronger than ever. Talent will be even greater and a new young SuperBand will soon rise from the ashes of obscurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
