Channeling the influence of artists such as\u00a0Nick Cave<\/strong>,\u00a0Depeche Mode<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Black Sabbath<\/strong>wrapped in shroud of punk rock, Los Angeles industrial\/noise amalgamation\u00a0SPIRIT IN THE ROOM<\/strong>\u00a0has recently turned heads in the heavy rock music scene via performances with the likes of\u00a0Deftones<\/strong>\u00a0and the release of several undeniably potent singles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2018,\u00a0SPIRIT IN THE ROOM<\/strong>\u00a0revealed a provocative, unpredictable throat-punch of a track in the form of “The Future is Immediate<\/a>” – an ode to social media naivet\u00e9. The track is featured on\u00a0SPIRIT IN THE ROOM<\/strong>‘s brand new EP, entitled\u00a0Spirit In The Room Vol. 1<\/em><\/strong>, out today. This EP is the first part of a three part EP series the band plans to release in 2019.\u00a0Spirit In The Room Vol. 1\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>can be purchased via\u00a0Spotify<\/a>,\u00a0YouTube<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Bandcamp<\/a>\u00a0now.\u00a0Fans should note that purchasing the EP via Bandcamp will unlock a special surprise bonus track!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPIRIT IN THE ROOM\u00a0<\/strong>architect and frontman Dennis R. Sanders offers,\u00a0“The songs on this EP, in particular, are mostly based on greed and vanity. Perfection is the new ugly in my opinion.”<\/em>Sanders adds,\u00a0“It’s important to me to write and release\u00a0SPIRIT IN THE ROOM<\/strong>\u00a0material that can be translated in the live setting.
