The agreement now brings together Richards\u2019 1978 debut solo single and four solo albums from 1988-2010, alongside his publishing that BMG has represented since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>In celebration of the 40th\u00a0anniversary of Richards\u2019 debut solo release, a 1978 recording of the Christmas classic \u2018Run Rudolph Run\u2019, BMG will release a limited edition 45rpm 12\u201d on red vinyl, remixed and remastered by longtime collaborator Steve Jordan. The November 23rd\u00a0North American Record Store Day exclusive includes a cover of Jimmy Cliff\u2019s \u2018The Harder They Come\u2019, a version of \u2018Pressure Drop\u2019 featuring Toots &amp; The Maytals, and a \u201cSanta Keith\u201d holiday card featuring a greeting from Richards himself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Keith Richards said, \u201cLooking forward to working with Hartwig Masuch and\u00a0everyone at BMG.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch, \u201cIt has been a pleasure to build a relationship with Keith and his exceptional team over the past five years. It is a real honor now to extend that relationship even further to work with his classic solo releases.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BMG EVP Global Catalogue Recordings Peter Stack said, \u201cThis agreement paves the way for a \u00a0reappraisal and repositioning of the solo work of one of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll\u2019s true originals and arguably its most pre-eminent guitarist. Fans can expect a programme of releases which truly does justice to these great recordings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Released in 1988, Richards\u2019 debut solo album, the Gold-certified\u00a0Talk Is Cheap, featured the Top 5 US rock hit \u2018Take It So Hard\u2019, Top 20 US rock hit \u2018You Don\u2019t Move Me\u2019, and single \u2018Struggle\u2019. Co-writing every song on the album, Richards teamed up with Steve Jordan to co-produce the album featuring his band the \u201cX-Pensive Winos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>During pre-production of his follow-up studio album in 1991, Richards released\u00a0Live At The Hollywood Palladium, December 15, 1988, a live set recorded during the\u00a0Talk Is Cheap Tour. Featuring performances with his band the X-Pensive Winos, the album includes a collection of songs from\u00a0Talk Is Cheap\u00a0and several of his Rolling Stones vocal highlights, which would go on to sell more than 100,000 copies in the US alone.<\/p>\n<p>Once again pairing with Jordan to co-produce and co-write his next album, Richards added Waddy Wachtel to the mix and returned with his second studio effort,\u00a0Main Offender, in 1992.
