Their defining song, &#8220;Love Will Tear Us Apart,&#8221; a single-only release, became  their breakthrough hit after that tragedy. Joy Division&#8217;s remaining  members\u2014guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook, and drummer Stephen  Morris\u2014disbanded the group (later re-forming as New Order), but not without  making leaving a lasting legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Darryl Watts, Senior A&amp;R Manager at  Universal Music Publishing said, &#8220;Joy Division are quite simply one of the most  important bands the UK has ever produced.
