Californian blues-rockers RIVAL SONS are due to kick off a North American tour tonight, Monday, October 10th, with EVANESCENCE.
The tour begins at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California and will see RIVAL SONS rocking their way across the USA and Canada for three weeks, before the band returns to Europe in November for a headlining tour.

RIVAL SONS guitarist SCOTT HOLIDAY previously commented:

“We’re stoked to be touring across America and into Canada this October with Evanescence. Very happy to be invited by them. Between Evanescence, Pretty Reckless and us, the bill is pretty well diversified and will definitely give us the chance to play to a new demographic of rock fans, which we’re always thriving for. We’ve also been so busy in Europe for most of this year, this tour will give us the opportunity to bring our rock ‘n’ roll back to fans we’ve been missing here in the States.

“We will return to Europe immediately at the end of this tour, so if you want to catch us in the USA, this will probably be your last chance in 2011! Rest assured, we will definitely be back in 2012… Super duper, mega full-force!”
